Paul E. Bennett
Paul E. Bennett, II joined the firm in 2009 and brings his expertise in environmental regulation compliance, redevelopment, real estate and land use. Before moving his practice to California, Mr. Bennett was associated with the Chicago law firm of Neal & Leroy, LLC, a boutique real estate firm focusing on eminent domain, municipal law, acquisition and disposition, land use, zoning, government relations and project entitlements.
Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Bennett served as an Assistant to Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley. Mr. Bennett was the chief liaison to the Chicago Housing Authority where he was responsible for managing and coordinating all City infrastructure and planning departments involved in the Chicago Housing Authority's Plan for Transformation, a $1.5 billion dollar capital improvement program designed to transform traditional public housing developments into mixed income communities.
Mr. Bennett received his J.D. from the University of Iowa, College of Law and his B.A. from North Carolina Central University. He is admitted to practice in California and Illinois.
