Lauren B. Feldman

Ms. Feldman serves as Assistant City Attorney for the Cities of Lomita and Hermosa Beach, including serving as counsel to their planning commissions, and regularly advises the West Hollywood Planning Department. 

Ms. Feldman also works closely with many of the firms’ clients on land use, planning and environmental law matters, such as Clean Water Act, NPDES and CEQA compliance and advises our clients on all other legal issues associated with municipal law practice. Ms. Feldman worked with city staff to prepare the City of Malibu’s ordinance banning plastic shopping bags, the first such ban in Southern California, and assisted our clients in preparing telecommunication user taxes, applying utility user taxes to modern telecomm services. Before joining Jenkins & Hogin in 2006, Ms. Feldman gained valuable experience representing cities and other public entities as a law clerk and associate at a municipal law firm and by working on a special legislative task force at the Los Angeles Housing Department. Between 2009- 2010, she completed the New Leaders Project, a program of the Jewish Federation’s Community Relations Committee focusing on active civic engagement and community service opportunities in Los Angeles.

In 2010, Ms. Feldman co-authored The Legal Basis for Allowing Medical Marijuana Operations for Western City Magazine.

Ms. Feldman received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona and earned her Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law.
